 O'Neill leads the way


The top scorers are raising plenty of flags

Cork’s Colm O’Neill is the top scorer after four rounds of the Allianz football leagues.

With 3-21 to his name he is ahead of Fermanagh’s scoring machine Sean Quigley by two points. Donal O’Hare of Down and Sligo’s Adrian Marron are joint third on 26 points.

O’Neill leads the way in Division 1, with O’Hare the top scorer in Division 2. Quigley heads the Division 3 scoring chart, with a three way tie at the top of Division 4. CJ McGourty (Antrim), Willie Mulhall (Offaly) and David Tubridy (Clare) have all hit 22-points.

In the goal scoring charts Colm O’Neill, Donal O’Hare and Willie Mulhall all have three majors to their name.

The highest individual score in a game was recorded by Colm O’Neill (2-6 v Monaghan).
